135763 The Sea Dart was an experimental supersonic seaplane flown in the 1950s for the US Navy. After one of the prototypes crashed during a test flight over San Diego Bay, the Navy pursued development of carrier-based supersonic fighters instead. This example stands guard in front of the San Diego Aerospace Museum.
