9K-ADA Aircraft was leased for seven months from Kuwait AW and it is seen here at Lohausen on Christmas 1987. In 1995 it was sold to American Int´l AW/Kalitta as N707CK and converted to full freighter in 1996. N138TA Tiger Air´s VIP B.707, bought in 1978 from Pacific Western, at the Airshow in Le Bourget. This aircraft was the first Qantas B.707, registered as VH-EBA in 1959 and today she is preserved as VH-XBA at the Qantas Founders Outback Museum in Longreach, Australia. (mehr von N138TA)

SE-DDL The first B.747-283B named "Huge Viking" with line no.114, the second one was N4502R, approachs his parking position at Terminal B. Other operators of this aircraft were Scanair, Gulf Air as LN-AET and Minerve as F-GHBM. SE-DDL was scrapped at San Antonio in July 1994. (mehr von SE-DDL)

Aircraft was owned and operated by Laker Airways from February 1969 until December 1978., and she is seen here at Lohausen taxying for departure to Barbados. C-FPWV This 707 was the first jet aeroplane on the Australian Register in 1959 and Qantas first B.707 registered as VH-EBA. This series -138B is a special performance B.707, designed with a shorter fuselage and more range than other B.707-120Bs. Today it is preversed at the Qantas Founders Outback Museum in Longreach, Australia as VH-XBA. Two other B.707-138Bs, which servived in flying condition, are N707JT of John Travolta and 9Q-CLK, the presidential aircraft of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. (mehr von C-FPWV)

OY-KHA "Ivar Viking" with brother "Magnus Viking" on a catering stopover at Lohausen. In spring 1978 the whole catering division of SAS at Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm was on strike for several days. SAS-catering at DUS was the biggest station outside Scandinavia, providing all SAS- and LTU-flights at Düsseldorf.
