N428PA Jet Clipper Star of Hope lived up to its name when this B.707, in service for Korean Air, registered as HL7429, deviated significantly from course on April 20, 1978 on flight KE902 from Paris to Anchorage and entered Russian airspace near Murmansk. HC-AZH Seen here in typical scenery in the cargo area next to the famous corrosion corner. HC-AZH was the last surviving Canadair CC-106 Yukon, a Bristol Britannia derivate built by Canadair for the Royal Canadian Air Force. Announced plans in 2005 to restore her for the RCAF Memorial Museum sadly failed and she was scrapped at Cuenca in 2010 (mehr von HC-AZH)

D-ACWF In 1980, Wirtschaftsflug planned to enter the cargo flight business. For this purpose, the operation of three Lockheed L-100-30s was considered and a agreement with German Cargo was made. The first brand-new Hercules, delivered in October 1981 did not bring Wirtschaftsflug the desired economic success and the company had to file for bankruptcy in late 1982.
