YR-ISG The IAR-824 (originally known as the ICA IS-24) was a utility aircraft built in Romania in the 1970s. A small number were built, with five going to Romanian Airclub for training and glider towing, including this one. The plane has been restored and since summer 2020 is on display in Coresi Avantagarde Residential neighborhood in Brasov, Romania. (mehr von YR-ISG)

The Yakovlev Yak-17 was an early Soviet jet fighter and his version Yak-17UTI was a tandem-seat, dual-control trainer. Romanian Air Force operated nine Yak-17UTIs as trainers for the Yak-23s from 1951 until 1958. The only one preserved in Romania is plane number 7 (there are only 3 left in the world). The plane was restored in 2018 (unfortunately is not a precise, historical restoration) and is exposed in the courtyard of the Palace of Culture Iasi, Romania (Stefan Procopiu Science & Technical Museum).
