As I was driving home from my flight from MFE (Mc Allen, Tx), I decided to make a quick stop at Lee Rd just as the sun was setting. I stopped, grabbed my camera and 400mm and quickly fired off 4 frames of one of CO' s wingleted 738s as it gracefully sets down on 27.

On finals for 27, a Florida West 763 screams overhead. These flights fill in for Lan Chilie Cargo's IAH operations. While it is nice to have this in my collection, I would much prefer that LA return it's own metal on the IAH run.

C-GKEK Heavy clouds moved in just as this AC Jazz arrives at it's gate at IAH inbound from YYZ. Just before this photo was made, I was approached by an airport operations official who asked me very politely to leave, though he was kind enough to allow me to capture the Jazz CRJ. This was my first encounter with any airport official pre or post 9/11 and while the official was freindly and polite and even apologetic as well as being more than willing to accomendate my wish to photograph the above aircraft, I was still more than a little taken a back by the fact that I was asked to leave this area. BTW, this photo was taken on level 2 at the A/B garage at IAH and I was told that a concerned traveller called me in. (mehr von C-GKEK)
