The 1960s were the best time for the "Rhein Ruhr Flughafen Düsseldorf". During this decade there were even more transatlantic destinations served by famous airlines like Trans Canada or Pan Am. There were also many flights operated by the legendary Lockheed Constellation. The Vickers Viscount flew several national and european routes. This photo was taken by my grandfather and I found it in an old dirty box.
