9V-SWO Final Approach into Changi after a 3 1/2 hour flight from HKG. A storm had just passed through the City State and the sun had just set. A poignant shot for me as this would be my last approach into Singapore for a while, as three days later I would leave Singapore for a new life in Los Angeles, California. The new "Berlin Brandenburg International" airport is taking form. On the right is the tiny current terminal that dates back to the times of the socialist Eastern Germany. Bit to the left is the former northern runway (which I still remember to have used a few years ago) and in the middle of the picture the only runway currently in use. The basic layout of the new terminal is already recognizable and very much follows the shape of Munich Airport (same designer).

CS-TEH The A310 is leaving TAP soon, this one went to Aeronostalgia AirShow. In his farewell ceremony he made a low pass with the 2 Alpha Jets from the team Asas de Portugal, then landed for the first time in Sintra Air Base (more of CS-TEH)

N172DN dramatical moment in Hamburg. N172DN is ready for take-off to ATL on rwy 33 when the right main gear bursts into the wing and the belly crashes onto the runway. The aircaft was filled up with fuel and it was great luck that this accident did not cause an explosion. (more of N172DN)
