Registration + Info: C-FTNA [Canon 350D] The 6 of July 2001, the flight 906 took off from Lyon at 19:00 for a flight to Berlin, with 208 persons on board (197 passengers). While climbing through FL190 the aircraft encountered severe hail showers. Some instruments failed as a result, forcing the crew to return to Lyon for an emergency landing. The damage was too important and the plane too old (30 years) for envisage a repair. Consequently, Air Transat sold it to airport administrators for 1€.
